The Tamil Language Festival (TLF) 2025 took place from 5 April to 4 May. The festival featured 46 programmes by 47 partners, as the community comes together to celebrate and promote the Tamil language in Singapore.

TLF 2025 presented the theme of "இளமை" or "Youthfulness" as it aims to encourage participants of all ages to cherish the language's roots, while exploring new avenues for its continued development. It reflects the idea that youthfulness is not confined to just age but is an enduring spirit of creativity, innovation, and community — one that will keep Tamil thriving as an integral part of Singapore's multicultural landscape for many generations to come. In conjunction with SG60, the theme also resonates with the nation’s narrative of growth and resilience.

TLF 2025’s key visual features quotation marks with bright colours and Indian motifs, reflecting the Tamil language's deep roots in cultural heritage, and its vibrance, adaptability and relevance to modernity and youth. It depicts Tamil as a classical language that bridges communities and preserves a wealth of knowledge and artistry, shaping the identity of the Tamil culture.
